We started because good teaching shouldn't depend on postcode
NextGen Tuition Center began as a weekend maths circle in a borrowed classroom. The method hasn't changed — small numbers, real relationships, relentless clarity. The reach has.
A tuition centre without the centre
Traditional tuition asks families to build their week around a building. We removed the building and kept everything that mattered: a teacher who knows your child's name, a rhythm they can rely on, and someone accountable for the result.
Every learner is matched by subject, curriculum, pace and temperament. Every session closes with a diagnostic. Every month, a parent gets one page that says plainly what improved and what is next.
We are deliberately not the cheapest option, and we are deliberately not a marketplace. We hire slowly, observe our tutors in live sessions each term, and rematch without argument when a pairing isn't working.
2019
Founded as an after-school maths circle for twelve local students.
2021
Moved fully online, built the first parent progress portal.
2023
Passed 5,000 learners across 22 countries and added science and coding.
2026
A team of 140 specialist tutors and a full parent, student and teacher portal.
Four principles our tutors are hired against
Honest measurement
We report what actually moved, including the weeks that stalled. Trust is built on unflattering data.
Relationship first
Learning follows rapport. A tutor who knows the learner's mood on a Tuesday teaches better than one who doesn't.
Understanding over drilling
We teach the why before the how. Memorised methods collapse the moment a question is rephrased.
High standards, kindly held
Expectations stay high. The tone stays warm. Those two things were never in conflict.
